About Me&Baby Dance
Welcome to Me&Baby Dance! I’m a trained dance therapist who founded Me&Baby Dance in 2019 after the birth of my first child. My aim was to share a playful side of myself with my daughter, beyond the practicalities of early parenthood. Living in London can sometimes feel isolating, and I longed for a creative outlet with other adults. I couldn’t find a baby group that offered what Me&Baby Dance does—a unique space where adults and children can come together to express themselves creatively.
We are now recruiting for new class facilitators! If you are interested, please get in touch at julia@meandbaby.dance

Our Mission
At Me&Baby Dance, our mission is to create a supportive and joyful environment where parents and their babies can bond through dance and movement. Our sessions are designed to foster creativity, connection, and community among all participants.
Our Journey
Over the years, I have refined the Me&Baby Dance program, co-facilitating it with my two children as they have grown. We’ve successfully conducted sessions in various settings, including community centres, dance studios, and educational environments such as nurseries and museums. Our experience has shown that these sessions not only provide a fun and engaging activity for families but also enhance the well-being and social connectedness of both parents and children.
The Team at Me&Baby Dance
Julia Korning
I am a qualified and ADMP-UK registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist based in central London. My background is in physical theatre and dance, and I spent many years leading creative workshops with children and adults before qualifying as a therapist in 2019. When facilitating workshops, my goal is always to awaken creativity and encourage participants, young and old, to be playful and confident.

Sarah-Jane Eisen
I am an ADMP UK qualified and registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist and UKCP Trainee Member based in East London. I have worked with both children and adults in different settings. I have a background in contemporary dance and theatre, salsa dancing, embodied movement/dance and education, so when facilitating Me&Baby Dance groups I work towards attuning to the group and adapt activities creatively as sessions progress. My aim is to strengthen important childhood developmental patterns with playful movement that builds confidence and connection and enhances wellbeing. This in turn, helps to reduce tension, increase energy and enjoy self-expression and creativity in a supported environment.
